Preventive Measures Possible by Resistance Front in Coming Hours: Iran's Foreign Ministry

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated that the leaders of the Resistance Front will not allow Israel to carry out its desired actions in the region. He added that preventive measures by the Resistance Front are possible in the coming hours. The information was reported by the IRNA agency.

Amir-Abdollahian did not specify what he meant by the Resistance Front, but that term may refer to coalitions between Iran, Palestinian militants, Syria, Lebanon's Hezbollah movement, and other groups, notes sky.com.

In this context, the Iranian Foreign Minister referred to his recent meetings with the leaders of the Resistance Front, including Hezbollah's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah. He mentioned, “All possible options and scenarios are on the table for the leadership of the Hezbollah party. Everything has been carefully calculated, and the Resistance leaders will not allow the Zionist regime to take any steps in the region. Preventive measures could be implemented in the coming hours.”

According to him, all leaders of the Resistance Front will work towards a political solution, but “any action is possible” if Israel continues its crimes against the civilian population. He added, “We are trying to avoid expanding the war's scope, but the Resistance Front will change Israel's geographical map if Israel's crimes continue.”

Addressing his conversations with partners from certain Islamic countries, Amir-Abdollahian stated that they have come to the conclusion that “if the limited opportunities of the UN are not utilized, the possibility of opening new fronts against the regime will be inevitable.” He emphasized that Iran cannot remain indifferent to the “war crimes perpetrated against the people of Gaza,” and called on the US to halt the military crimes against the civilian population instead of sending “hypocritical messages.”

When discussing the likelihood of Iran entering the military conflict, the foreign minister noted that “any possibility can be imagined.” On October 7, armed members of the Palestinian Hamas group launched a massive operation named “Al-Aqsa Flood” against Israel from the Gaza Strip. The operation is considered unprecedented in Israel's 75-year history. There are thousands of casualties and injuries on both sides.
