«Breaking the Rules, I Can Say That Putin Has No Rivals in Russia and Cannot Have Any» - Peskov

The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, believes that currently, the head of state, Vladimir Putin, has "no rivals in Russia and cannot have any." This was reported by rbc.ru.

"We have repeatedly stated that President Putin is, of course, a politician and the number one state figure in our country. And my personal opinion, although I have no right to say this, but breaking the rules, I can say that at this moment he has no rivals in the Russian Federation and cannot have any," Peskov told journalists.

Earlier, the president's press secretary noted that if Putin were to go to vote, no one would be able to compete against him. "Putin has not yet announced that he will run, but if he does, no one will be able to compete against him," Peskov said in September.
