Armenia's Allies Not Only Did Not Help but Also Called for Government Change, Says Pashinyan

The Armenian people have managed to unite in these days in defense of their independence, sovereignty, democracy, and another conspiracy against the state has been foiled. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, during his speech at the European Parliament.

“At a time when hundreds of thousands of Armenians were fleeing from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia, our security allies did not only fail to assist Armenia but openly called for a change of government and the overthrow of democratic authority during those days,” said Pashinyan.

This remark referred to the events of September 19, when the most tragic incidents occurred as Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack on Nagorno-Karabakh in line with its long-term program of ethnic cleansing.

According to Pashinyan, the Armenian people have managed to unite in these days in defense of their independence, sovereignty, democracy, and another conspiracy against the state has been thwarted.

Members of the European Parliament started applauding him when the Prime Minister spoke about how Armenia managed to mobilize and provide refuge for 100,000 Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh within a week, avoiding tent camps.
