Washington's Warning to Tehran

The United States continues to urge parties to ensure the safety of civilians fleeing the military operations between Israel and the Hamas group. An American senator has warned Iran and Hezbollah, stationed in Lebanon, not to interfere in the conflict, according to Voice of America.

U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who plans to visit the region in the coming days with Democratic and Republican senators, issued a stern warning to Tehran and its allies: “If Hezbollah, which is a satellite of Iran, launches a large-scale attack towards Israel, I will consider it an existential threat to the State of Israel. I will propose a resolution to the U.S. Senate, allowing the U.S. to undertake military operations in conjunction with Israel to remove Iran from the oil business.”
