"It's not just about telling, you have to see it": A woman arriving in Armenia from Israel
"It's not just about telling, you have to see it, live it, when your children are afraid, waking up from sleep and screaming 'mommy, again?'. It's hard to describe what a mother feels in that moment," said a member of the Armenian community who arrived in Armenia on a special flight from Tel Aviv to Yerevan, during a conversation with reporters at the Zvartnots Airport.
"In our city, it wasn’t that tense, but I had defensive items with me. We would jump at every noise, fearing that terrorists would come in and do something. I want to thank those who brought us to Armenia without any issues; I am in my homeland, and that is enough for me," she added.
It is noteworthy that the special flight from Tel Aviv to Yerevan just landed at Zvartnots Airport. A total of 190 Armenian citizens, including over 70 children, have been relocated from Israel to Armenia. The organization and costs of the flight were covered by the Armenian government.
