During a meeting chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin today, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated that Russian troops are experiencing tactical improvements in several areas of the frontline.

“The enemy's attempts to attack are practically facing our active defense in all directions. In many sectors of the front, we are managing to improve the tactical situation. Essentially, we have not allowed the enemy to record any advance anywhere. The spring and summer offensives planned by the Ukrainian authorities are in the past; now we are in the autumn offensive phase, and during none of those operations have they achieved significant successes,” Shoigu said.
