Israeli Military Casualties Reach Latest Figures

The number of Israeli military casualties during the recent escalation has reached at least 291, reports Haaretz, citing Israeli Defense Forces representative Daniel Hagari, as conveyed by RIA Novosti.

Previously, the Times of Israel had reported, referencing the Israeli Defense Forces, that the number of casualties had reached 289.

It is reminded that on October 7, over 1500 Hamas militants breached the security barrier and infiltrated Israel from the Gaza Strip. Israel has declared war on Hamas and is striking hundreds of targets. Additionally, Israel has commenced a complete blockade of Gaza, halting the entry of water, electricity, fuel, food, and other goods.

The number of casualties in Israel has exceeded 1400, and 150 individuals have been taken hostage by Hamas. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the number of casualties on the Palestinian side has reached 2808, with 2750 fatalities in Gaza and 58 in the West Bank.

The total number of injuries from both sides stands at 10,950, including 9700 in Gaza.
