Currently, 8-10 Armenians Remain in Artsakh, Says Spokesperson of Artsakh's Ministry of Internal Affairs

The spokesperson for the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs, Hunan Tadevosyan, left Artsakh on October 1, when almost all Armenians had already departed their homeland. He told Azatutyun that after completing the search operations for the missing persons in Artsakh, the last to leave Stepanakert on October 4 were the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Director of the Emergency Situations Service, and two rescue teams along with one police team.

Tadevosyan assures that currently, 8-10 people have chosen to remain in Artsakh voluntarily. 'Some had mental health issues, while others were desperate individuals who wanted to stay in their city and during the evacuation said, 'This is my land, and I want to die here.' There were also adequate individuals among them,' he noted.
