VIDEO: U.S. Secretary of Defense Visits Israel

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has arrived in Israel. During his visit, he is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and other Israeli officials.

Austin's visit comes after Secretary of State Antony Blinken traveled to Israel on Thursday, where he also met with Netanyahu and Israeli officials.

In recent days, the Pentagon has taken several steps to support Israel, including deploying an aircraft carrier strike group in the Eastern Mediterranean and sending an additional squadron of fighter jets to the Middle East. The Department of Defense is also dispatching military supplies and Iron Dome missile defense interceptors to Tel Aviv.

It is noted that the second plane carrying military aid from the U.S. is expected to arrive in Israel today.
