Another Observation Post of Russian Peacekeepers Closed
The Russian peacekeeping force continues to carry out missions in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. Continuous cooperation with Baku remains in place, aimed at preventing violence, ensuring security, and upholding humanitarian rights for the civilian population.
No violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces. In connection with the disarmament and dissolution of armed formations in Nagorno-Karabakh, one observation post of the Russian peacekeeping force in the Shushi region has been closed within 24 hours.
Overall, since September 19, 2023, 8 observation posts and 15 temporary observation posts of Russian peacekeepers have been closed in the regions of Askeran, Shushi, Martuni, and Martakert. Work continues with the involvement of Russian peacekeepers to restore the supply of electricity and gas to populated areas of Nagorno-Karabakh.
