No Armenians or Armenian citizens affected by military actions in Israel, says Armenian Foreign Ministry
The Armenian Embassy in Israel has established a 24-hour hotline at +972 50 6670345 (direct phone line), while the Foreign Ministry's hotline at +374 (55) 620111 is also available via WhatsApp and Viber applications. This information is provided by the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
According to available data, Armenians reside in the following cities: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Petah Tikva, and Bat Yam. Currently, there are no Armenians or Armenian citizens among those affected by military actions. The Armenian church in Jerusalem has not suffered any damage.
The Armenian Embassy in Israel is in constant contact with local authorities, Armenian organizations, and individuals. The embassy's hotline has been operational since October 9, and the main inquiries received so far have pertained to available flights from Israel to Armenia if needed.
It should be noted that Ben Gurion Airport is still operational, and airlines are continuing their flights. The embassy is also conducting voluntary registration for Armenian citizens wishing to return home, according to the developments of the situation.
To date, three Armenian students from the Eastern Mediterranean International School (EMIS) located in the Tel Aviv area have encountered issues regarding their return to Armenia, and the Armenian Embassy in Israel has provided the necessary support in this regard. Further information will be provided as the situation evolves,” stated the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
