Latvia Plans to Close Two Checkpoints on Border with Russia

Latvian authorities intend to close two checkpoints on the border with Russia. This was reported by the local television station LSM.

The checkpoints in question are Vientuli and Pededze. It is known that the government has already prepared a resolution to suspend their operations.

According to the television station, the operation of the checkpoints will cease starting October 16. The information comes from the Latvian Ministry of the Interior.
