UN Has No Information on Russia Supplying Weapons to Hamas

The United Nations has no information regarding claims circulating in Ukraine that Russia may have supplied weapons to Hamas. This was stated by the spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, during a briefing.

Earlier, the Israeli ambassador in Russia stated that he does not believe the allegations connecting Russia to Hamas's attack, calling them completely unfounded.

According to RIA Novosti, a United Nations Security Council meeting on the Palestinian issue is scheduled for Friday. It is also noted that the UN agency has announced a requirement of $104 million for urgent humanitarian assistance in Gaza.
