“The Palestinian issue is in the heart of every Muslim and is perceived by them as an expression of injustice on an incredible scale. When Israel was created, there was also talk of immediately establishing a sovereign Palestine, but that never happened,” said the Russian president.

According to Putin, what is happening now is horrific. “If men have decided to fight each other, then let them fight amongst themselves. Leave women and children in peace,” Putin said, referring to the large number of civilian casualties on both sides.
