When Will the Meeting on Ukraine Be Held in Turkey? Russia May Not Receive an Invitation

The parties are coordinating the date for a meeting on Ukraine in Turkey through diplomatic channels, a source told РИА Новости in Ankara. According to the Russian state agency, preliminary information suggests that the meeting will take place in the last ten days of October. It is assumed that the Russian Federation will not receive an invitation.

“There is still no exact date; the coordination is ongoing. Apparently, this will be in the last ten days of October,” said the media interlocutor.

Previously, Bloomberg reported that Turkey had initiated a meeting in October. It is noted that the participants will discuss “ways to achieve long-term peace in Ukraine.” The meeting is expected to be conducted in the same format as the events held in Copenhagen and Jeddah, where representatives of many countries discussed Vladimir Zelensky’s “peace plan” without Russia.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has called the meeting in Jeddah an attempt to create an “anti-Russian coalition.”
