Borrell Calls Emergency Meeting of EU Foreign Ministers

The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has called an emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of EU member states due to the situation in the Middle East.

“Tomorrow, I am convening an extraordinary consultation of EU foreign ministers to discuss the situation in Israel and the region,” Borrell wrote on social media.

It should be noted that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented missile attack from the Gaza Strip. According to the Israeli military's press service, extremists launched more than 3,000 rockets. Additionally, dozens of terrorists infiltrated border areas in southern Israel.
