Resident in Gyumri Commits Suicide by Hanging from a Tree

On October 8, a tragic incident occurred in the Shirak Province. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, around 6:30 PM, the operational management center of the Shirak regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that a resident had committed suicide by hanging from a tree in one of the houses on K. Demirchyan Street in Gyumri.

Police and investigators arrived at the scene and determined that the deceased was a 38-year-old resident identified as R.M., who had hanged himself in the yard of the house using a rope.
