Injury Reported Following Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway: New Details
On October 8, at 16:02, the Kotayk Regional Rescue Service received a report of an accident on the Yerevan-Sevan highway near the Ardzvi monument, indicating that there were casualties. This information was released by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
A rescue team from the special rescue operations center of the Ministry arrived at the scene. It was revealed that at the 14th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, a collision occurred between a Honda (driver: H. D., born in 1958) and a VAZ (driver: G. R., born in 1975), resulting in damage to an Opel (driver: S. M.), a Nissan (driver: A. M.), and a Toyota (driver: A. H.) vehicles.
The passengers of the Honda, N. D. (born in 1966) and A. D. (born in 1991), were hospitalized. The rescuers disconnected the electrical systems of the vehicles and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
