US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has announced that the Pentagon will provide everything necessary for Israel's defense. This was reported by The Times of Israel.

“Our commitment to Israel's right to self-defense remains unwavering, and I express my condolences to the families whose loved ones have been killed as a result of this horrifying assault on civilians,” Austin stated.

The Palestinian Hamas movement carried out the largest attack on Israel in recent years on October 7. They fired rockets at Israel from the Gaza Strip. Hamas militants infiltrated Israeli territory using paragliders and pickup trucks.

A state of emergency has been declared in Israel, and mobilization has been announced. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Hamas has declared war on Israel and will face the most severe response.
