Israeli Authorities Close Border Crossing with Jordan

Israeli authorities have closed the border crossing with Jordan. This is reported by Al-Jazeera. It is noted that, due to military operations by the Palestinian Hamas movement, Israel has closed the crossing to Jordan, which allows access to Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Hamas movement carried out one of the largest assaults on Israel in recent years on October 7, launching rockets from the Gaza Strip towards Israeli territory. Hamas militants infiltrated into Israeli territory using paragliders and pickup trucks.

The movement has reported on 35 abducted Israelis.
