“At the same time, steps are being taken to improve entry and exit possibilities to Nakhchivan and facilitate cargo transportation. An agreement has been reached with the Islamic Republic of Iran to solve these issues,” he said.

Mustafayev stated that the connection to Nakhchivan will also be implemented through bridges, “which will be constructed near the village of Agband in the Zangilan region and in the territory of Nakhchivan.” He added that a mutual agreement has been reached and a project for the bridge has been prepared. He noted that besides the highway, a railway bridge is also planned to be constructed in the area. The work on the creation of the complete infrastructure is expected to be completed within one year.
