Samvel Babayan has started double games in Armenia: ‘Hayots Ashkharh’

The newspaper ‘Hayots Ashkharh’ reports that Samvel Babayan, the former secretary of the Artsakh Security Council, who moved to Armenia from Artsakh while greeting Azerbaijanis, has already started his double games here as well.

According to reliable information from ‘Hayots Ashkharh’, Babayan has urged many displaced Artsakh Armenians who have settled in Armenia to go and participate in the rallies of the recently formed opposition ‘National Committee’. He has taken this step in support of the ‘Mother Armenia’ alliance leader Andranik Tevanian.

As our reliable sources report, Samvel Babayan told Artsakh Armenians that they should participate in the opposition's rallies because Tevanian is ‘one of us’. Most of the displaced Artsakh Armenians, responding to Babayan's call, attended the gatherings demanding the resignation of the authorities, which lasted only 2-3 days.

It turns out that the same Samvel Babayan, who was considered the spokesperson for Nikol Pashinyan in Artsakh, is playing double games—on one hand, defending Pashinyan and the dangerous theses he has put forward, and on the other hand, calling on Artsakh Armenians to participate in rallies demanding his resignation.

In a conversation with us, Andranik Tevanian commented on this information, stating that it does not correspond to reality. 'It’s gossip. What can I comment on if such a thing does not exist? Regarding our gatherings, all Armenians, including those from Artsakh, should participate in them. There have always been and will be many Artsakh Armenians at our gatherings,' Tevanian said.
