Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he learned from the media that Armenia recognizes Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan.
During a session of the Valdai Discussion Club, Putin recalled that in the autumn of 2022, the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a statement in Prague under the auspices of the President of the European Council, the Chancellor of Germany, and the President of France, wherein Armenia recognized Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. Furthermore, Armenian leaders directly mentioned the territory of Azerbaijan in square kilometers, which also includes Artsakh. They emphasized that they recognize Azerbaijan's sovereignty within the framework of the Azerbaijani SSR.
