Nikol Pashinyan Has a Brief Conversation with the President of Ukraine

A brief conversation took place between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Granada. The meeting occurred within the framework of the third summit of the European Political Community held in Granada.

It is noteworthy that Pashinyan is leading a delegation that has traveled to Granada to participate in the summit, which also includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary of the Security Council.

Earlier reports indicated that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had withdrawn from a scheduled five-party meeting in Granada on October 5, which was set to include Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, European Council President Charles Michel, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The reason cited for Aliyev's withdrawal was the refusal of Germany and France to allow Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to participate in the meeting.
