EU Observers in Armenia Regularly Engage with Local Populations: Mission Statement

As part of their safety patrols, European Union civilian mission observers in Armenia regularly engage in conversations with local residents, including shepherds from the village of Navur, to inform the EU about how the conflict affects people's daily lives.

"The EU civilian mission in Armenia contributes to ensuring the safety of local populations in border areas between Armenia and Azerbaijan," stated the mission on its X (formerly Twitter) microblog.
