Azerbaijan Ready for Trilateral Meetings in Brussels in EU, Azerbaijan, and Armenia Format: Hajiyev

Azerbaijan is prepared for trilateral meetings in Brussels soon, in the format of the European Union, Azerbaijan, and Armenia. This was announced by Hikmet Hajiyev, an assistant to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, according to Azerbaijani media.

"The Azerbaijani side supports direct, bilateral dialogue and negotiations on the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and on the peace agreement," said Hikmet Hajiyev.

It is worth recalling that EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell expressed hope that negotiations could be organized between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Brussels.
