Pashinyan Explains Why He Claimed There Is No Immediate Danger to Artsakh Residents

During a Q&A session in the National Assembly, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan explained why he stated that there is no immediate danger to the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh at this time.

"My statement was about not intensifying the threats against those people. I could have made a statement that at least 300 more people would die under those conditions, and nothing would change. My task was not to make a statement that would lead to the death of an additional 300 people. My task was to make a statement that no one would lose a hair from their head. I am glad that, perhaps thanks to my statement, more than 100,000 of our compatriots suffering have managed to reach Armenia," Pashinyan explained.
