Araik Harutyunyan Already Interrogated, Says Lawyer

Araik Harutyunyan, who was arrested yesterday and transferred to Baku, has already been interrogated. This was reported by his lawyer Alov Safaraliyev, according to Trend.

“Harutyunyan has been interrogated, and I can only say that his testimony will help find answers to many questions,” he noted.

According to the lawyer, Harutyunyan's physical and psychological state is “normal.”

“I will defend him in accordance with the laws of Azerbaijan, the requirements of international conventions, and legal ethics. In short, I will diligently fulfill my professional duty,” the lawyer added.

It should be noted that in addition to Harutyunyan, former Presidents of Artsakh Arkadi Ghukasyan and Bako Sahakyan, as well as the Speaker of the Artsakh Parliament Davit Ishkhanyan, have also been arrested and transferred to Baku.
