I have written to Josep Borrell regarding the expansion of the EU observer mission in Armenia, says French Foreign Minister

The French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna has written to the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, regarding the expansion of the EU observer mission in Armenia and enhancing its mandate to be even more useful to Armenia. This was announced by Colonna after her meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

“I have proposed to include Armenia in the 'European Peace Mechanism', similar to what is happening for Moldova. Our goal is for the EU and its member states to start showing the same clear signals that France is demonstrating regarding Armenia’s territorial integrity. Any action that threatens Armenia’s territorial integrity will be met with a very clear and firm response, and I hope we can also rely on other partners, specifically referring to the United States,” she stated.
