Heavy Rainfall Floods Suburbs of Istanbul
The suburbs of Istanbul, located in the northwest of Turkey, have been left underwater, according to local media reports.
After several months of drought, heavy rain fell in the city the day before.
The intense rainfall has led to flooding, turning streets and boulevards in several areas into 'lakes', causing water to reach the metro systems of cities and districts.
