Did the Three Presidents of Artsakh Return to Armenia on October 1? Media

The former presidents of Artsakh are in Armenia. This information comes from ArmLur.am.

It is reported that as a result of negotiations and agreements, the three presidents of the Republic of Artsakh—Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, and Araik Harutyunyan—along with most of the remaining government officials and military leaders returned to Armenia on the evening of October 1.

It is recalled that Azerbaijani border guards had detained former Prime Minister Ruben Vardanyan, former Defense Army Commander Levon Mnatsakanyan, and former Deputy Commander of the Defense Army Davit Manukyan while crossing the bridge at Hakari, and they were later arrested and charged with fabricated criminal cases.

Negotiations are ongoing regarding the release of the four detainees. It should be noted that there is still no official information regarding the arrival of the presidents in Armenia.

Several Armenian media outlets and Facebook users also report unofficial information about the arrival of the former presidents. Suren Surenyan, the head of the Democratic Alternative party, also mentioned on his Facebook page that the presidents have come to Armenia as a result of negotiations with Baku.

Additionally, later, Aravot.am journalist Nelly Grigoryan refuted the unofficial information about the former presidents' arrival in Armenia. She wrote, 'The information that all presidents of Artsakh have moved to Yerevan as a result of negotiations is not true.'
