The Flow of Displaced Persons from Artsakh to Armenia Has Ceased: Vardan Sargsyan
The flow of displaced persons from Artsakh to Armenia has ceased. This was stated by Vardan Sargsyan, a representative of the working group on managing the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, in an interview with NEWS.am.
He noted that the number of individuals utilizing state-provided housing has increased. "These shelters are temporary, although there are places that could potentially serve as long-term accommodations in the future. No individual applying for housing has been left without a place to stay," he said.
Issues concerning elderly individuals and persons with disabilities who have relocated from Artsakh are being resolved through the Ministry of Social Affairs by providing them with special care facilities.
Sargsyan also mentioned that he does not have any information regarding a UN mission's visit to Artsakh and cannot comment on it.
