Over 100,000 People Have Already Been Subjected to Ethnic Cleansing, New UN Mission Enters Artsakh: Tigran Abrahamyan
Pashinyan's government has plunged the country into the arena of geopolitical bargaining, transforming Artsakh and Armenia into a testing ground, wrote MP Tigran Abrahamyan on his Facebook page.
“Artsakh was under blockade for 9 months, after which Azerbaijan launched military operations, and people were kept in a hostage-like situation following the ceasefire, with no serious actions taken by any international organizations or actors. Now a new UN mission is entering Artsakh to 'assess the situation on the ground and determine the humanitarian needs of the residents.' This comes at a moment when over 100,000 people have already left their homes as a result of ethnic cleansing. Currently, several dozen people are still in a hostage-like situation and are unable to exit Artsakh, while several military personnel and political figures have also been kidnapped by terrorists,” he wrote.
