Official Ankara Expresses Condolences Over the Victims of the Explosion in Stepanakert

Official Ankara has expressed condolences over the victims of the explosion that occurred at a gas storage facility in Stepanakert. The statement was published on the official website of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“We extend our condolences to the relatives of those killed in this tragic incident and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. Turkey is ready to provide the necessary assistance,” the official condolence statement from Ankara reads.

It should be recalled that on September 25, a strong explosion took place at a gas storage facility near Stepanakert, resulting in numerous fatalities. The confirmed death toll is 68. The identities of 21 of the deceased have been established, while the others remain unknown. The number of injured citizens is 290, of whom 168 have been transferred to medical institutions in Armenia.
