David Babayan, Included in Azerbaijan's 'Black List', Decides to Leave Stepanakert for Shushi
David Babayan, the advisor to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, announced his decision to leave Stepanakert for Shushi today.
“Dear compatriots, friends, party members, you all know that I am included in Azerbaijan's black list, and the Azerbaijani side has requested my arrival in Baku for an appropriate investigation. I have decided to leave Stepanakert for Shushi today. This decision will, of course, cause great pain, worry, and stress, especially to my loved ones, but I am confident that they will understand,” he wrote.
“My failure to appear, or worse, fleeing would seriously harm our long-suffering people and many others. As an honest person, a worker, a patriot, and a Christian, I cannot allow that,” he added, praying for God to bless our people, and for the Almighty to relieve their suffering and heal their wounds.
