Minister of Education Discusses Continuation of Education for Displaced Students in Armenia

In Nagorno-Karabakh, 8 colleges and vocational schools, along with 4 universities, have operated. It is anticipated that there will be challenges regarding the continuation of education for students here. This was stated by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, during a press briefing.

“Regulations related to credit transfer, differences, and logistics to facilitate their transfer have already been developed. Additionally, we are currently discussing issues related to tuition fees, as I believe there will also be a need for an assessment of needs and further proposals, which, of course, should be based on data,” the minister said, adding that these issues can be addressed once our compatriots from Nagorno-Karabakh are settled.

It was also noted during the press briefing by the spokesperson for the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, that as of September 27 at 15:00, 50,243 individuals have been forcefully displaced from Artsakh and crossed into the territory of Armenia.
