Tragic Incident in Yerevan: 11-Year-Old Boy Reportedly Dies Suddenly

On September 23, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 12:15 PM, an emergency call was received at the Malatia division of the Armenian Police from the 7th branch of the Yerevan 1-03 emergency service, reporting that medical personnel from ambulance group 71 had responded to a call at one of the buildings on Kurginyan Street, where they discovered a child’s body.

According to Shamshyan.com, police and investigators have determined that the deceased is an 11-year-old boy named Karen D., who resided in the same house. The preliminary conclusion from the forensic examination indicates that no signs of violence were found on the body during the external examination. A forensic examination of the body has been ordered by the investigator.

According to the child's relatives, the boy died suddenly at home. A criminal case has been initiated at the Malatia investigative division on the basis of “murder” (sudden death).
