‘Most patients’ health condition is assessed as extremely serious and serious’ – Avanesyan reveals number of injured at Yerevan Burn Center

67 individuals injured in the explosion at a fuel depot in Artsakh are receiving treatment at the National Burn Center in Yerevan. This was announced during a press conference by the Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan.

“The health condition of most patients is assessed as extremely serious and serious. We also have a small number of moderate cases. Other specialized doctors have joined the burn specialists, and coordinated work is underway to ensure that all needs can be met in one place,” the minister said.

It is noteworthy that on September 25, a powerful explosion occurred at a fuel depot near the Stepanakert-Askeran road. The victims include individuals forcibly displaced as a result of Azerbaijan’s large-scale military operations against Artsakh.
