Hovik Aghazaryan Gave False Testimony, He Insulted: 'Zhoghovurd'
As known, on September 21, MP Hovik Aghazaryan from the ruling party insulted Armen Galstyan, the father of Levon Galstyan, a hero of the 44-day war, who has since been detained.
The 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports that MP Hovik Aghazaryan was summoned by the Investigative Committee and interrogated, during which he stated that he had been insulted and that he himself had not used any insults. However, after listening to the MP, the investigator later discovered otherwise: he was shown a video establishing that the MP had given false testimony. In reality, Aghazaryan had also insulted and shamelessly lied to the investigator, providing perjury.
It is noted that this is not the first time Hovik Aghazaryan has found himself in such a situation. Months ago, in the Arabkir administrative district, he kicked a citizen's potatoes away and discarded them, but law enforcement did not hold him accountable for hooliganism. He insulted Tatev Virabyan from Artsakh in a personal letter and again remained unpunished. Meanwhile, when a member of the ruling party is insulted, law enforcement immediately takes action and detains the soldier's father, the newspaper writes.
