Azerbaijan Must Be Held Accountable: Marukyan

This is a classic case of ethnic cleansing carried out by Azerbaijan in the 21st century. This was stated by the Special Envoy of Armenia, Edmon Marukyan, addressing the issue of displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to him, there is no doubt that Azerbaijan must be held accountable for this act. He noted, “Rivers of vehicles transporting refugees fleeing Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia are on the move, forced to abandon their ancestral land, their homes, communities, villages, and cities, as no one has guaranteed their rights and safety in Nagorno-Karabakh,” he wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) microblog.
