VIDEO. Situation Near the Entrance of Kornidzor Village: The First Group of Our Fellow Citizens from Artsakh Has Arrived

The first group of displaced persons from the Republic of Artsakh has arrived in Kornidzor village, Syunik. This information is reported by the Telegram channel of RT.

“A few vehicles have arrived. Women and children are initially entering the registration center, which is located near the Lachin corridor,” the correspondent reported from Kornidzor.

It is noted that a column of ambulance vehicles is also expected to transport all the injured to hospitals in Armenia.

Recall that Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack against Artsakh on September 19. The Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire across the entire length of the contact line, delivering rocket and artillery strikes.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced that they are conducting local counter-terrorism measures.

According to preliminary information, at least 200 people have died and more than 400 are injured due to Azerbaijani aggression.

On September 20, it became known that the authorities of Artsakh accepted the proposal from the command of the Russian peacekeeping mission regarding a ceasefire.

On September 21, a meeting between representatives of Artsakh and Azerbaijan took place in Azerbaijan’s Yevlakh, mediated by Russian peacekeepers.
