Video: Displaced People from Artsakh Say They Crossed Checkpoint with No Inspection
About 40 people are undergoing registration at the humanitarian center. An assessment of needs is being conducted. They recount that they passed through the checkpoint without any inspection.
Siyunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan stated that a working group of about 250 people has been formed, including volunteers.
Responding to CivilNet's question regarding the region's readiness to transport a large number of injured individuals to Syunik, Ghukasyan said: “Work has been done in that direction. Currently, there are about 45 ambulances that have arrived from Yerevan in Syunik, and the medical centers are also ready. At the Kornidzor humanitarian center, we have installed about two dozen computers to ensure that people can be registered promptly. Pregnant women and individuals with disabilities will be accommodated in hotels, while others will be placed in Goris, Tegh, and Tatev communities. The issue of accommodation for about ten thousand people is currently being prepared for resolution in the region.”
