Helen Dadayan to Be Buried in Yerevan
Helen Dadayan, an Artsakh resident who tragically lost her life in a car accident on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, will be buried in Yerevan. This was confirmed by her uncle, Musheg Safaryan, in a conversation with NEWS.am.
“Helen’s mother allowed for her to be buried here. We made a lot of efforts, but it was in vain; we were not permitted. Perhaps this is for the best, considering the situation in Artsakh…,” said Musheg Safaryan.
The funeral service will take place on September 27, Wednesday, and the burial will be on September 28.
It is noteworthy that on the night of August 14, on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway near the village of Lanjik, a passenger minibus of the “Volkswagen” brand collided with a “ZIL” brand truck. Eleven people lost their lives in the accident, including the minibus driver and the tour guide from “Hamshen Tour,” while six others were severely injured. Five of the injured are in the intensive care unit, four of whom are in critical condition, and one in extremely critical condition. The driver of the “ZIL” is also among the injured. The passengers were returning from a trip to Western Armenia.
