Kyokh is alive. Information had circulated online regarding the death of Colonel Karen Jalavyan, a commander of the "Yegninkner" military unit and a hero of Artsakh. Just recently, the page "Yegninkner's ARTSIV Karen Jalavyan" reported that these rumors are false: "These are false news, the commander is alive." Earlier, Mesrop Arakelyan, co-founder of the "Living Country" party, also wrote: "According to information received from Artsakh, Karen Jalavyan, Kyokh, is alive," he stated.
