Lavrov and Bayramov Discuss the Current Situation in the Region

On September 22, a meeting took place between the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan, Sergey Lavrov and Jayhun Bayramov. This was reported by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, on her Telegram channel.
The diplomat noted that at the start of the negotiations, the Azerbaijani delegation once again apologized to the Russian side regarding the deaths of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
It has been reported that the parties discussed the situation in the region, emphasizing the humanitarian aspect. Additionally, a number of current issues related to international matters were also discussed.
