No Need for Assistance Collection for Displaced Individuals from Artsakh: Statement

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia informs that, due to the situation created in Nagorno-Karabakh, some individuals and private initiatives are organizing the collection of food, clothing, and essential supplies, which is not necessary.

We urge not to initiate such processes to avoid the misallocation of resources. The needs of the displaced individuals from Artsakh regarding transportation and accommodation will be coordinated and met by the working group established for this purpose, as required.

We also encourage sectoral NGOs to discuss the necessity of any initiative with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia before starting their implementation.
