8-Year-Old's Heart Shattered by Explosions in Artsakh, Says Ruben Vardanyan
The situation in Artsakh is critical, with people on the brink of physical annihilation, said former Artsakh Prime Minister Ruben Vardanyan in an interview with Russian broadcaster Ksenia Sobchak. He stated, “People in Artsakh are in panic. It has been three days without electricity and without the ability to properly heat food. There are no medications, and there are a large number of injured. Since this morning, gunfire has continued, and people are terrified; the heart of an 8-year-old child has shattered from the bombardment.”
Regarding the possibility of opening a "humanitarian corridor" or abandoning it, Vardanyan noted that complex negotiations are underway at various levels, which have not yet yielded results. “The issues are immense; it is a very heavy process. This is a major challenge for the leadership of Artsakh,” the politician emphasized.
