A Statement from Baku Regarding the Meeting Held in Yevlakh

The meeting, which took place in a constructive and positive atmosphere, addressed the issues related to the reintegration of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh based on the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the restoration of infrastructure and the organization of activities.

Ramin Mamedov presented the reintegration plans. This information was reported from Baku concerning the meeting held in Yevlakh.

“The importance of the prompt implementation of the issues reflected in the September 20 statement of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense regarding the cessation of anti-terror measures was also emphasized. Representatives of the Armenian residents of the Nagorno-Karabakh region pointed out the urgent need for fuel in the context of discussions on social and humanitarian issues. At the same time, they requested humanitarian assistance, including food supplies. Their request was positively received.

In particular, it is planned to ensure fuel supplies soon and provide humanitarian assistance to meet the heating needs of kindergartens and schools, as well as the needs of emergency medical services and fire-fighting services. An agreement was reached to hold another meeting,” the report from Baku notes.

It should be reminded that the delegation from Artsakh will return to Stepanakert after the completion of negotiations with the Azerbaijani side in Yevlakh.
