Respond and Help: Henrikh Mkhitaryan Appeals to the World

In Artsakh, 120,000 peaceful residents, including 30,000 children, are under military attack, former captain of the Armenian national team and Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan wrote in English on Facebook.

"Azerbaijan has resumed the war against Artsakh, shelling civilian residents and civilian infrastructure after a 9-month deliberate blockade, starvation, and denial of humanitarian aid. As experts say, this is genocide," Mkhitaryan stated.

He calls on his fans, the sports world, and media colleagues to respond and help spread the voice of peace restoration. "Children are not a target; 2 children have already been killed," Mkhitaryan added.
