Over 10,000 People Currently Displaced from Their Native Communities, Says Artsakh Ombudsman

The Ombudsman of Artsakh, Gegham Stepanyan, reports that thousands of people are still unable to locate their relatives and family members.

The Office of the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh has initiated a fact-finding mission to gather data on the situation. The displaced individuals are forced to seek refuge in other settlements within Artsakh, where they can ensure relative safety.

They are without adequate food, medication, and hygiene supplies—this constitutes a national disaster and a gross violation of all fundamental human rights.
